INTRODUCTION TO BUD

In order to help Hong Kong companies seize the opportunities of the national "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government formally established the "BUD Fund" in June 2012 to assist Hong Kong companies in developing brands, upgrading and transforming, and expanding domestic sales. Market to explore and develop local business. The BUD special fund is mainly divided into "Mainland Program" and "Free Trade Agreement Program". Companies can individually or simultaneously apply for BUD funding under the "Mainland Program" and the "Free Trade Agreement Program".

BUD APPLICATION

Unlisted companies registered or incorporated in Hong Kong [holding BR, NAR1, Form1(a) /Form (c)]

Non-government funding agencies or affiliates of any government funding agencies

Have substantive business operations in Hong Kong at the time of application submission

Applicant companies with similar business registration information (such as business nature, address, contact number, shareholders/directors) will be regarded as connected companies. A related company will be treated as a single company, that is, the cumulative funding amount received will be combined and cannot exceed the cumulative funding ceiling.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR BUD APPLICATION

Business Registration Certificate

Companies Registry Annual Return (NAR1) or Business Registration Office Form 1(a)/1(c)

Proof of business operation within 3 months when submitting the application (invoice, receipt, contract, utility bill, etc.)

A copy of the Hong Kong ID card or passport of the person signing the application form
